John R. Delane at Computer Shopper recently published a review of the latest D-Link’s Powerline HD Network Starter Kit DHP-303. The DHP-303 (which has been featured in this blog before) is powered by the latest DS2's AITANA powerline communications chipset.
The D-Link adapter gets a score of 8 (out of 10) and an "Editors' Choice" recognition.
Some highlights from the review:
The big round button is used to activate the embedded Triple Data
Encryption Standard (3DES) security feature. Securing the network is
easy; you simply push the button on one adapter, wait for the green AP
LED to begin flashing, then proceed to the second adapter and push the
button until its AP LED begins flashing. Once the second adapter’s AP

The DHP-303 is not only secure and easy to use. It's AITANA core also makes it faster than competing powerline products in the same category:
The DHP-303 turned in the fastest transmission speeds we’ve seen to date from a power-line device. [...] More important, it needed only 12 minutes and 16 seconds to transfer a 4GB folder containing video, music, and other assorted data

by more than 3 minutes and was almost a minute faster than the Belkin
adapter. Plus, we tried streaming a few music videos from our host PC
to the notebook and were rewarded with smooth video playback and
perfectly synced audio.
